DC2-MySQL-02 Outage and Database Security

Kattare sustained a DoS/Bruteforce attack on dc2-mysql-02 last night around 5:00 PM PST. It took us about an hour to isolate the cause of the outage, but once it was isolated, it was obvious what we needed to do.
