Postgres Server Upgraded

We were forced to upgrade the postgres server today. It was running out of connections and the current hardware wasn't able to handle any more connections so we took it down this afternoon (Sun) for just long enough to put in a faster CPU and more RAM. We would have prefered to plan the upgrade ahead and warn everyone, but the lack of free connections was causing random outages for users of the server.
