Security Note: Use the FTP client in SFTP mode (FTP over SSH). You never want passwords or sensitive information sent in plain text!
Note: It's not a good idea to have the FTP software store your password. We know that Filezilla does not encrypt the stored password. Any malware can read this and can quickly lead to a compromised account.
