Question

How do I approve messages to my moderated list?
Answer
For a moderated list, the moderator needs to approve every message in order for that message to reach the list. How time consuming is this? This kind of depends how active the list is. More people on it who actually try to send somethign to the list, means more messages that need to be approved by the moderator. Here is basically how things work for approving a message:

The list owner gets the bounced message, asking for them to approve it... copy/paste come in handy at this time. Below is a sample message that you would send back to the <Majordomo> mailing list:

<header>
From:
To:
Subject:
<body>
Approved: list_password
From: Orginal Sender
Subject: Orginal Subject Line

this is where the orginal text that bounced message would go. a simple
copy/paste works well.

The blank line after "Subject:" is important, as well as "Approved:" being the first line. Everything after "Approved:" and before the blank line, is considered to be the header for the message.
