The dc2-mysql-01 MySQL server crashed today. We can no
longer get it to boot past the raid controller
initialization. Once we realized it was not going to
come back up, we transferred MySQL service for
dc2-mysql-01 to our live replicated backup for it. No
data has been lost, the replication we used was up to
the second.
The down side is that our replication server is not as
beefy as the original server, so things may be a bit
slower for a while. We have already ordered up
replacement hardware and we expect to have the original
server back up and operational in a week or so.
