We have several cards to add to our backbone router at
DC2. The new cards are to add redundant interfaces for
several of the connections the router handles. Having
them ready to go in the router will drastically reduce
any downtime we might have due to a router interface
failure.
We'll be plugging the new cards in at around 5:30 PM
PST on Friday October 5th.
Plugging the cards in should not interrupt services,
but we are letting everyone know just in case.
Occasionally a reset is necessary to get the router to
recognize new cards.
