DC2 Level 3 Circuit Issues
Our T3 circuit to Level 3 communications is taking some errors. An
attempt to debug caused a larger router outage. We will be working with
L3 over the next couple of days to get to the root cause.
A couple of times over the past few days we've seen our Level 3
Communications T3 circuit bounce. This causes high router load for
recalculating the BGP tables and such. Looking at the controller stats,
we're seeing a massive amount of C-bit code violations on the line.
None of the other T3s are seeing similar errors.

We tried to do some loopback testing earlier this evening, but it inadvertently caused a general outage on the router for some reason
that we don't quite understand yet. As the errors are not causing any
immediate catastrophic errors, we're going to take a more restrained
approach to debugging this over the next couple of days.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to
contact either support or me. Thanks for your patience with us while
we debug these issues.
